Born in Padova in 1978, in 2003 he graduated cum laude in Business Administration with a specialization in Corporate Finance at the Bocconi University in Milan and, during his studies, he attended the exchange program at the Berkeley University in California.

In the same year he began his professional career with an internship at the JPMorgan M&A team in Milan; after having attended the Training Program in London, he was hired by the  Milan office, where he was involved on several Italian M&A transactions, mainly in the energy sector.In 2006 he joined the team of DGPA SGR, management company of DGPA Capital, an Italian private equity fund focused on the SMEs sector. .
