Born in Turin August 15, 1934. Graduated in Economics at the University of Turin in 1958.

He worked at the Olivetti until 1983 in various positions. In 1983 he moved to CIR SpA, where he served as Managing Director and Finance until 1986.

In 1986 he was appointed Managing Director of CIR SpA, a position he held until December 31, 1993.
